    This introductory course covers the basics of asbestos regulation, health effects, and identification of asbestos
    containing materials, OSHA Asbestos Standards, EPA Worker Protection Rule, STEM Guidelines, abatement
    techniques, respiratory protection requirements, protective clothing, and an in-depth review of the Asbestos
    NESHAP Regulation.
    Who Should Attend
    This introductory course is designed for individuals who have a basic understanding of the compliance assessment
    requirements for any asbestos regulations within its state, region or territory. This class is intended for air quality
    professionals whose role is to inspect facilities which contain asbestos related materials and determine regulatory
    compliance status with any state or federal asbestos regulations.
