• Set up the main training room seats in a "U" shape due to considerable discussion between the participants/instructors.
• Day prior to the course start date: Schedule an afternoon meeting with the local on-site contact to verify the AV equipment is working properly; copies of the course handouts are completed; and the training room is adequate for the course; and the location of the breakout rooms.
• A projector with cables to hook up to a computer (Windows or Mac) to show the PowerPoint slides.
• An extension cord to provide power for the projector and computer.
• Two to four (2-4) separate rooms (depends on class size) for the Practical Exercise on the afternoon of the first day other than the main training room.
• Two (2) break out rooms for the morning of the third day.
• An area outside of the training building to conduct the mock sampling for the Practical Exercise. If no area outside is available, designate an inside area to conduct the mock sampling exercise.
• Make copies of course handouts and PowerPoint slides
• 4 laptops with thumb drives and 4 cameras for participants to prepare an inspection report with cables or other means to download photos to a thumb drive. The instructors will provide the thumb drives.
• A flip chart
• Wi-fi in the room if possible
